Here are three commercials for popular magazines, all from the 1980s. The TIME commercial is from December of 1986, while the People commercial from either late 1987 or early 1988, I’m not quite sure, and the Sports Illustrated commercial is from August of 1988.

I haven’t seen a magazine commercial on television in a long, long time.
