I'm sure if "V" had been an animated series, it would have looked EXACTLY the way Marvel's writers and artists rendered it in their comic book adaptations.

Incidentally, most reviews of the "revised" edition of ABC's "V" were mixed...with one exception: a rave review from USA TODAY's Robert Bianco. Personally, he does have a tendency of overreacting to certain series and specials, possibly because so much of "standard" television is "bland" to him, he'll gladly embrace "offbeat" shows [as in his enthusiasm for last season's "SAMANTHA WHO?" and "PUSHING DAISIES"].
