I’ve decided to move away from a weekly schedule and will instead be posting intermittently, perhaps two or three times a week, on a variety of topics relating to obscure television. I will, however, continue reporting on new DVD releases every Tuesday. When I migrated the site to WordPress in November 2008, I never intended to begin posting on a daily basis. I have always considered the articles and exhibits to be the cornerstone of the site, although I haven’t been publishing new articles as regularly as I’d like. Setting a weekly schedule in May 2009 seemed like a good idea at the time and for about a year I was able to stick to it.
Over the past few months, however, I’ve been spending more and more time trying to crank out the regularly scheduled posts every week. And frankly, it’s no longer fun. Abandoning the weekly schedule means I’ll probably be posting less but on the other hand what I do write about will hopefully be of more interest.
