The “CBS Fall Preview” airs tonight at 8:30PM ET on CBS. Hosted by the cast of The Big Bang Theory, the half-hour special will preview the network’s five new programs for the upcoming 2011-2012 season. Here‘s a press release from CBS with more details.
I say the special gets roughly three million viewers. Anyone think it will do better? Worse?
I think the ‘CBS Fall Preview’ will do better than it has over the past decade because of the crossover to the cast of ‘The Big Bang Theory’, which should help out in getting a nice A18-49 rating at least.
I watched it, and it was quite funny, enlivened by the various cast observations (in charactger) on the new CBS series.
It did do better than I anticipated, drawing 5.8 million viewers and a 1.7/5 in the A18-49 demo (full details at TVBytheNumbers.com). And that was against football.
Slight change to the TEAM TOON line-up: It will now consist of:
*An hour of the original Doodlebops.
*An hour of Busytown Mysteries
*Danger Rangers
*And Horseland.

Another change: CBS’ Saturday-morning block WILL NOT be changing its name to Team Toon and will remain as Cookie Jar TV!
Jeremy.
Promos inbetween the shows continue referring to the “Team Toon” umbrella title, Jeremy…even though the line-up is still identified as “Cookie Jar TV”.
This is the schedule (all times Eastern)- ALL REPEATS:
9:00 DANGER RANGERS
9:30 HORSELAND
10:00 THE DOODLEBOPS
10:30 THE DOODLEBOPS
11:00 BUSYTOWN MYSTERIES
11:30 BUSYTOWN MYSTERIES
In New York, WCBS-TV delays the 9-10am shows to 12 Noon [local news fills that hour].
Plus: Cookie Jar has cancelled its syndicated block, which means NO MORE NOONBORY!
