I’ve published a new Spotlight feature discussing ABC’s Hollywood Special, which was the second regularly-scheduled movie night on network television (after The NBC Saturday Night Movie, which premiered in September 1961). Only 15 movies from United Artists Associates were aired on Hollywood Special, which in September 1962 became The Sunday Night Movie.
Included are two promotional spots for the April 22nd, 1962 movie, Shake Hands with the Devil starring James Cagney.
