Revised: The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams

Over the weekend I finished revising my article on The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams, which has been greatly expanded to include quite a bit of reaction from critics, expanded sections on episodes from both seasons as well as more information about how it fared in the ratings. As was the case with My Living Doll and Mr. Lucky I’ve removed the videos from the article because the series is now available on DVD. Even before it came out on DVD, I called it a popular obscurity, and it is. But popular obscurities deserve recognition, too.

  1. Do you know if there is anywhere that I can find the original first Grizzly Adams movie? It came out about 1974. Thank you.

    1. Karen, I know this is a little late, but just now reading this! You can pick up one on ebay or amazon, avoid the one from the good times company, in the green box, it only fills half the tape spindle, the one that You want comes in a clam shell case, with animated art work on cover, it has a full or almost full reel. better picture quality then the one from good times company, but the one from good times it is passable, if you really want to own the VHS tape. Hope this helps, that is if your still looking. Regards!
