Here’s an episodic promotional spot for the February 7th, 1964 episode of Route 66, titled “Who in His Right Mind Needs a Nice Girl?” The series, then in its fourth and final season on CBS, would air its final episode the following month. The promo features voiceover from star Martin Milner, introduced by co-star Glenn Corbett.

“Route 66” is best remembered for Nelson Riddle’s theme song, which became a chart-topping hit single in the early 1960’s.
