Where to View 1963 Network News Coverage of the JFK Assassination

A quick reminder: CBSNews.com will be streaming the 1963 CBS News coverage of President Kennedy’s assassination, in real-time, starting this afternoon. You can watch it here starting at 1:40PM. The coverage will run through Monday, November 25th. A timeline can be found here.

  1. Well, I tried to record the livestream using Jaksta and for some reason I’m not able to. Very disappointed. There’s lots of stuff from days 2-4 that is not on YouTube and I was hoping to capture it somehow. Guess I’ll just have to watch it all live. I hope someone else is able to capture it.

  2. The “Let Freedom Ring” program listed for 11/23/63 originally aired 12/31/61 and featured Richard Boone, Dan O’Herlihy and Laraine Day doing patriotic readings and had the Mormon Tabernacle Choir performing patriotic songs.
