I do not remember this show at all. However, the premise looks like something that could have been successful. It made me think of “The Newlywed Game,” except with next door neighbors spilling secrets.
This is one of the classic bad game shows in TV history. Ironically, it was produced by the people who later made the true game show classic, “PRESS YOUR LUCK”.
Jane Nelson, one of The New TREASURE HUNT Girls, was also the model for those winning prizes announced on THE NEIGHBORS. Miss Nelson was also the starlet on DEALER’S CHOICE and THE DIAMOND HEAD GAME, both syndicated by Columbia Pictures Television. She was 1st place runner-up as Miss Arizona in the 1965 televised Miss USA Pageant.

In 1962, I was stationed at Holloman Air Force base in Alamogordo, New Mexico, and in charge of providing entertainment for the enlisted airman. I attended a local high school talent show and discovered singer Jane Nelson. I had also written two songs “Only for You” and “Platonic Girl” that Jane recorded. I pitched them to Yucca Records, also located in Alamogordo, but nothing happened. However, I still have the demos.
