  1. Our local UHF station in Toronto, CITY-TV used to do this, and showed it’s Great Movies movie block every afternoon, night, and late night (as well as a show of porn movies very late Friday and Saturday night called Baby Blue Movies until it was bought out by Rogers Media, which the company cancelled, probably because it was competition with Roger’s pay-per-view business. We even had a ton of local programming, with shows like CityLine (hosted first by Dini Petty, then Marilyn Denis, and now Tracy Moore); magazine series such as The New Music, Toronto Rocks, Fashion Television, Life on Venus Ave. and Movie Television; and interactive series such as Speakers’ Corner.
