WCBW Schedule, Week of September 21st, 1941

Here’s the schedule for WCBW, the CBS station in New York City, for the week starting Sunday, September 21st, 1941, straight from daily television listings printed in The New York Times. As always, the station was off the air on Sunday.

For the first time, the listings this week included details about the daily children’s stories broadcast by WCBW. Monday and Tuesday were “Hansel and Gretel”; Wednesday was “Hans in Luck”; Thursday was “Snow White and Rose Red”; and Friday was “The Six Companions.”

The Thursday sports programs featured John Hightower rather than Bob Edge. The Friday program was hosted by Edge.

Friday’s National Defense program featured the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps.
