WNBT Schedule, Week of June 29th, 1947

Here’s the schedule for WNBT (NBC’s flagship TV station in New York City) for the week starting Sunday, June 29th, 1947. The New York Times published daily listings for television stations in the city, including WNBT, alongside its comprehensive radio listings.

WNBT’s week kicked off Sunday (June 29th) afternoon at 2PM with a scheduled baseball game between the New York Giants and the Brooklyn Dodgers. The regular evening lineup kicked off at 8PM with Ringside with Tex and Jinx followed by Party Line at 8:30PM. Then came Musical Miniatures and a film.

On Monday (June 30th) at 8PM, the station broadcast the 1936 film Stormy Trails starring Rex Bell and Bob Hodges. Tuesday (July 1st) saw another scheduled baseball game, this one pitting the Giants against the Boston Braves.
