Week 22 of the 1972-1973 season started on Monday, February 5th, 1973 and ended on Sunday, February 11th, 1973. The highest-rated program was All in the Family on CBS with a 35.0 Nielsen rating.
As was the case with Week 15 of the 1972-1973 season, I don’t have access to the complete Nielsen chart for this week. That means I can’t share the 10 lowest-rated programs. However, I don’t want to get off schedule by skipping a week. Anyone care to guess which programs landed in the Bottom 10?
February 7th, 2018 Update: Thanks to Darryl, I can now share the lowest-rated programs for this week:
|55||“Duke Ellington Special”||CBS||13.9/21|
|56||Touch of Grace||ABC||13.1/20|
|61||NBC Monday Movie (“Funeral in Berlin”)||NBC||10.3/17|
|62||What About Tomorrow||ABC||9.0/16|
|63||Here We Go Again||ABC||7.8/12|
The second installment of ABC’s monthly documentary series What About Tomorrow? (“Cities, Our Next Frontier”) may have aired from 10:30-11PM ET on Monday, February 5th. Or it may have been pre-empted. I’ve found conflicting TV listings that show the special airing from 6:30-7PM ET on Saturday, February 10th but also from 6:30-7PM ET on Sunday, February 11th.
CBS aired “Duke Ellington…We Love You Madly” from 9-10:30PM ET on Sunday, February 11th.
If anyone can provide me with the full Nielsen chart for the week of February 5th-11th, 1973 (or just the Bottom 10), I will be very grateful. Please contact me if you can help.
