Kyle MacDonnell Article to Be Serialized

I’ve got good news and bad news about my long-in-the-works article about early TV star Kyle MacDonnell. The bad news is the article isn’t finished yet. The good news is a substantial portion has been completed. So I’ve decided to try something new and post the article in parts here at the Television Obscurities blog, serializing it over the course of however long it takes to get it done.

The first part will be posted later this week. It covers Kyle’s early life and the beginnings of her career on stage, her move to television and her first television show on NBC (For Your Pleasure, which premiered in April 1948).

Once the final part of the serialized article has been posted, I’ll clean it up a little, revise whatever needs revising, and then publish the full article at Television Obscurities proper, complete with citations. I’ve been toying with the idea of serializing an article for some time and this seems like the perfect excuse to test it out.
