Last October, CBS Home Entertainment announced plans to release forgotten sitcom How to Marry a Millionaire on DVD. The first season came out on DVD in February of this year. At the time, Amazon also began taking pre-orders for both Season 2 and a Complete Series bundle–but no release dates were available.
Now, seven months later, Season 2 is finally available for purchase. If you didn’t pre-order the two-disc set, support Television Obscurities and purchase your copy from Amazon (for just $8.99). And if you haven’t already done so, purchase Season 1 as well.
Curiously, the Complete Series bundle still doesn’t have a release date, yet Amazon continues to take pre-orders.
Based on the 1953 film of the same name starring Betty Grable, Marilyn Monroe, and Lauren Bacall, How to Marry a Millionaire aired from October 1957 to August 1959. The NTA Film Network originally distributed it with 20th Century Fox producing. The first season consisted of 39 episodes and starred Lori Nelson, Merry Anders, and Barbara Eden.
For the shortened 13-episode second season, Lisa Gaye replaced Nelson.

I pre-ordered my copy at the same time I ordered the first season DVD. I did order it via the Amazon link on the Television Obscurities site. I received notification yesterday that it is about to ship, and I should receive it by September 22nd.
