Here’s promotional spot for the 41st Emmy Awards, which were broadcast by FOX on Sunday, September 17th, 1989. John Larroquette served as host. It was the third year in a row that FOX aired the Emmy ceremony. The network finally won its first awards after being nominated but not winning the previous two years. The Tracey Ullman Show walked away with several awards, including Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Program.
