It’s once again time for the broadcast networks to do their very best to inform current and potential viewers about their new and returning programs. Last year, only CBS and FOX produced fall preview specials, and that appears to be the case again this year. September 17th, 2025 Update: NBC also has a network special this year and FOX will air its special on Sunday, September 21st. See below for details.
CBS – “CBS Fall First Look”
the futon critic has this half-hour special scheduled to air from 8-8:30PM ET 9-9:30PM ET on Friday, September 19th. I’ve been unable to find any information about it.
FOX – “It’s Fall on FOX”
Jane Krakowski and Jane Lynch host this half-hour special that FOX uploaded to its YouTube account on August 22nd:
The special is scheduled to air on FOX on Sunday, September 21st from 9-9:30PM ET.
NBC – “NBC Fall Preview Presented by Access Hollywood”
NBC aired an hour-long special from 10-11PM ET on Tuesday, September 16th with the hosts of Access Hollywood previewing the network’s new and returning shows. The special is currently streaming on Peacock.
Check your local listings to see if it “It’s Fall on FOX” is airing on your FOX affiliate.

According to the futon critic NBC has a fall preview special airing Tuesday 09/16/2025 from 10:00PM to 11:00PM.

It seems ABC hasn’t had one since 2022 and the CW hasn’t had one since 2013.
