WCBW Schedule, Week of August 24th, 1941

Here’s the schedule for WCBW, the CBS station in New York City, for the week starting Sunday, August 24th, 1941, straight from daily television listings printed in The New York Times. As usual, the station was off the air on Sunday and for the fourth week in a row was also off the air on Saturday.

It was a typical week for WCBW. Variety show Men at Work on Monday featured a comedian, a tap dancer, a mimic, a pair of singers, and a pair of dancers. Two more Metropolitan Museum of Art programs aired on Tuesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday, Helen Sioussat interviewed Mrs. Roberta Fansler of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, writer and critic Thomas Craven, and art collector Sidney Janis.Another National Defense show aired on Friday.
