TV News was a local viewer guide that listed programs on the air in Western New York state, specifically the Rochester and Buffalo areas, during the early 1950s. It called itself "A Weekly TV Program and News Magazine." Not much is known about the magazine, which was published by Western New York TV NEWS, Inc., cost fifteen cents an issue or $5 for a subscription, and was on newsstands every Thursday. Its fourteen pages were filled with television schedules for Saturday through Friday, plus letters to the editor, articles, recipes, a crossword puzzle and a comic strip, plus advertisements.
Nathaniel Scheur served as president of Western New York TV NEWS, Inc., with Henry C.F. Stewart as vice-president and Milton J. Lindsay as Secretary-Treasurer. Elizabeth C. Baxter was editor of the magazine itself, Edgar Jaworski was the art editor, Henry C.F. Stewart doubled as business and advertising manager and Robert Scheur was circulation manager.
