Comments Enabled for Exhibits

One of the reasons I decided to start using WordPress was my desire to have a content management system (CMS) that would make it much easier to update different parts of Television Obscurities quickly and easily. But another reason was to allow visitors to comment on articles and exhibits and other things I write about. Until now, both my articles and exhibits have not been open for commenting. It took me a little while to figure out how to get WordPress to do exactly what I wanted but starting today comments can be left on all my exhibits.

My hope is that people viewing the exhibits will have interesting and thoughtful things to contribute. I am a little worried that this change will just allow more spam. We’ll see how it goes. I do hope to eventually let people leave comments on my articles as well. But that might take some time. If you run into any problems please be sure to let me know. You might also notice that the exhibits now have the same sidebar as the main page here at Television Obscurities. One of these days the entire site will show the same sidebar; at the moment all the articles have a slightly different one.
