Here’s the schedule for station WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the week starting Sunday, February 29th, 1948, straight from the weekly television listings printed in The Milwaukee Journal [1]. The station was off the air on Mondays and Tuesdays. An advertisement for WTMJ-TV focusing on the station’s programming, published on February 29th, revealed that guests on The Sportsman would be Bill Chandler, Marquette’s basketball coach, and two of his star forwards, Gene Berce and Sam Sauceda [2].

The advertisement also explained that the WTMJ-TV Teen Age council, responsible for Teen Canteen, was made up of Tom Billings, Leon Dolnick, Pat McRury, Janey Bell, Carol Geisenheiner and Nancy Kamper, who together represented six different Milwaukee County youth organizations [3].
