Here’s a promotional spot for the October 17th, 1956 episode of the CBS series The Millionaire, titled “Virginia Lennart.” Who was the guest star? None other than Betty White.
At the time, Betty White had a partnership arrangement with producer Don Fedderson; they first collaborated on “LIFE WITH ELIZABETH”, initially on KLAC in Los Angeles before filming a syndicated version of it (1953-’55). In 1957, she starred in “DATE WITH THE ANGELS” (also copyrighted under Don’s “Silverstone Films” unit)- and finally, he produced her live 1958 comedy/variety show.
