Here’s a CBS TV Guide ad from September 1975 promoting the network’s new daytime game show Give-N-Take:

Give-N-Take premiered on Monday, September 8th, 1975 airing from 10-10:30AM on CBS. The daytime game show was hosted by Jim Lange. Each episode saw four contestants attempting to collecct prizes worth $5,000 without going over that limit. It remained on the air for three months, with the final episode airing on November 28th.
This particular ad is from the Western New England Edition of TV Guide. Channel 3 was WFSB-TV in Hartford, CT and Channel 10 was WTEN-TV in Albany, NY.

I sorta remember this show, which was a knockoff of the 60’s game show Say When. It was canceled the same day as the revival of You Don’t Say, which had to make room for The Edge of Night after it switched from CBS to ABC. BTW, the expanded TPIR was a prelude to the show going to a full hour the following year.
A slight correction: the TPIR expansion happened in November 1975, several weeks before Give-N-Take ended.
Lange moved right from one short-lived cancelled CBS daytime show “Spin-Off” into this one. One episode of “Give-N-Take” circulates among collectors.
I remember that show too, it was essentially an electronic version of Yahzee.
