Except for the “Peanuts” feature films, CBS had a peculiar habit of breaking animated movies into two parts just like “Raggedy Ann” here. I remember they did the same with “Charlotte’s Web” and “Watership Down”. Did they not want to tie up prime-time with “kiddie” fare, believe their young viewers wouldn’t have the necessary attention span, or was it a ratings ploy?
