UCLA Film & Television Archive Will Stream Episodes of Frankly Jazz on May 6

The UCLA Film & Television Archive’s Virtual Screening Room will stream three episodes of Frankly Jazz on Thursday, May 6 at 7PM ET/4PM PT.

Frankly Jazz aired locally on KTLA in Los Angeles with Frank Evans as host. Evans hosted a radio of the same name on KRHM-FM. The half-hour series aired in black-and-white. Frankly Jazz debuted in August 1962 and remained on the air until January 1963. Learn more about the series at the Jazz Research website.
