Salvage 1 debuted in January 1979 as a mid-season replacement for ABC. During its first season, it starred Andy Griffith, Joel Higgins, Trish Stewart, and Richard Jaeckel. Although ABC renewed the sci-fi adventure series for a second season, only two episodes aired in November 1979 before the series was cancelled, leaving four episodes unaired.
I rewatched the show last year. The unaired episodes were aired when the series was repeated.
