TCM to Air The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson Interviews
Turner Classic Movies has announced a new programming initiative called Carson on TCM to debut during the summer of 2013. The cable channel has licensed 50 interviews from The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson featuring big name celebrities like Julie Andrews, Bob Hope, Mel Brooks, Bing Crosby, Charlton Heston, Kirk Douglas, James Stewart and more.
Pioneers of Television to Return in January
Pioneers of Television, the PBS documentary series exploring the history and early days of television, will return for a third season in January 2013. Ryan Seacrest will narrate the four new episodes, replacing Kelsey Grammer. The first season aired in January 2008 and the second season in January 2011.
UCLA to Screen Alternate Version of The New People Pilot Episode
The UCLA Film & Television Archive will screen an alternate version of The New People pilot episode on September 8th.
