WCBW Schedule, Week of November 23rd, 1941

Here’s the schedule for WCBW, the CBS station in New York City, for the week starting Sunday, November 23rd, 1941, straight from daily television listings printed in The New York Times. As always, the station was off the air on Sunday.

Viewers in New York City were treated once again to a week without test patterns except on Saturday.

The daily Children’s Story program continued its adaptation of Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels with “A Voyage to Brobdingnag.”

Monday’s Men at Work variety show featured at least ten guests, including comics Hank Henry and Robert Alda, dancers Miriam Winslow and Foaster Fitz-Simons, Chinese Dogs, and comedy dancers Joe and Joey Mack.

On Tuesday, singer Tamara replaced Joan Edwards. The topic for Wednesday’s Table Talk with Helene Sioussat was American Cooperation in an International Order After the War. The station aired an unspecified special event on Friday at 8:15PM.
