WCBW Schedule, Week of September 14th, 1941

Here’s the schedule for WCBW, the CBS station in New York City, for the week starting Sunday, September 14th, 1941, straight from daily television listings printed in The New York Times. As always, the station was off the air on Sunday.

For the most part it was yet another regular week for the station. The variety show on Monday featured singers and dancers. On Tuesday at 9PM, WCBW aired something called Sports Workshop in the time slot usually held by Bob Edge’s sports program.

The Thursday sports program with Bob Edge was replaced by a sports program with John Hightower. But Edge was back on Friday to interview a badminton player named Carl Loveday.
