WNBT Schedule, Week of February 23rd, 1947

Here’s the schedule for WNBT, the NBC station in New York City, for the week starting Sunday, February 23rd, 1947. The New York Times published daily listings for television stations in the city, including WNBT, alongside its comprehensive radio listings.

Transmitter problems forced WNBT to pull the plug during its presentation of “Miracle in the Rain” on Sunday, February 16th. The station restaged the drama, based on a novella by Ben Hecht, on Sunday, February 23rd. John Forsthye starred alongside Phyllis Ryder and Nydia Westman.

Otherwise, it was a regular week for WNBT. Books on Trial aired again on Monday, February 24th, it’s third episode. The station was off the air on Tuesday and Wednesday.
