I’ve updated my Streaming Guide to Short-Lived & Forgotten TV Shows, first published in mid-July. It currently covers nine streaming services: ABC, Amazon Prime Video, CBS All Access, CW Seed, NBC, Netflix, Shout! Factory TV, and Sony Crackle.
New TV shows added to the guide include the following:
Amazon Prime
Dilbert (UPN, 1999-2000) – 2 seasons, 30 episodes
Gidget (ABC, 1965-1966) – 1 season, 32 episodes
The Magnificent Seven (CBS, 1998-2000) – 2 seasons, 22 episodes
Melrose Place (The CW, 2009-2010) – 1 season, 18 episodes
Hulu
Return to the Planet of the Apes (NBC, 1975) – 1 season, 13 episodes
I should point out that the above shows may not be new to a particular streaming service. For example, Return to the Planet of the Apes has been streaming on Hulu for months or perhaps years. I only recently learned it’s available, however, and added it to the guide.
Thanks to Luke H and Zach for their contributions. If I’ve missed any short-lived or forgotten TV shows recently added to streaming services like Amazon Prime, Hulu, or Netflix, please let me know.
