TV Shows Celebrating Anniversaries in September 2025

The month of September sees more TV show anniversaries than any other, because that’s the month the broadcast networks have historically unveiled their new fall programs. My “master list” of obscure, forgotten TV shows includes nearly 600 titles that premiered in September between 1941 and 2024. The vast majority of these shows are either one season wonders or aired for less than a full season. There are also a decent number of shows that ran for a full season and a partial second season plus some that ran for two full seasons or perhaps two or three abbreviated seasons.

Clearly, I can’t list them all in this post but I want to start commemorating more TV show anniversaries. In the past, I’ve limited myself to only posting about noteworthy anniversaries (35th anniversary, 50th anniversary, etc.) and only for a select number of TV shows, primarily those I’ve written full articles about.
