I used to watch the Afterschool specials back then as I was 10 years old. Santiago’s Ark sounds familiar but I don’t remember it. I do remember the Last of the Curlews which was also one of the early specials. I think the main reason I remember Curlews is that it made me cry. Its a shame ABC doesn’t do those specials anymore.
The real shame is that most of the specials don’t seem to be available anywhere. There’s never been official DVD releases and apparently no VHS releases either.
