Digital specialty network Rewind TV launched last Wednesday (September 1) in more than 50 million households reaching 40 percent of the country. Owned by Nexstar Media Inc., Rewind TV focuses on sitcoms from the 1980s and 1990s like Growing Pains, The Facts of Life, Family Ties, Becker, and Murphy Brown.
Rewind TV is a sister channel to Nexstar’s Antenna TV, which now focuses primarily on sitcoms from the 1960s and 1970s.
Will any forgotten or obscure sitcoms from the 1980s or 1990s find their way to Rewind TV? Keep your fingers crossed.

It looks to be replacing Bounce in our area, although I can’t pull in the stations right now. I’m not really interested in 80s and 90s sitcoms anyway. I’ve either seen every episode or I’ve never been interested in watching them.
