This short promotional spot for The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is from the 1967-1968 season, the show’s fourth and last. It was cancelled halfway through the season and would air only 16 episodes, the last of which was broadcast on January 15th, 1969.

This is a brief promo from September/October 1967 (usually seen after the end of an NBC daytime program, the day the show aired that evening), and is a variation of a similar “NBC Week” promo originally seen in August/September 1967 (different staff announcer here- Bill Wendell was heard in the original; Fred Collins, here).

  2. Fall 1967-68 was U.N.C.L.E.’s final mission. Napoleon Solo (Robert Vaughn) and Illya Kuryakin (David McCallum) would later move from MGM TV to the big screen in 8 full-length versions. They were replaced by Dan Rowan and Dick Martin as the stars of ROWAN & MARTIN’S LAUGH-IN (1968-73).
